I have tried askin you before! And you went to Adams instead! I ordered the adapter from marlin and it should be here tomorrow. But now i have a charge problem. Truck won't run for more than like a minute before it dies. And I have to jump it to start it everytime. I hate my life.

Me

chodycrawler

It's alternator. It's not charging the battery. Therefore not running. I think it's the external thingy. Idk though. I'm gonna have Gary look at it.

well i had the same problem on mine but it didn't die it has carb so it dose not need the battary to run like efi does i drove mine with no charge for like a week. cheak all the wires and the voltage regulator and all that good stuff.

chodycrawler

Should I just buy a new voltage reulator?

i think its called the engine fuse

chodycrawler

The only reason I didn't think it was a fuse is because It still runs for like a minute before it dies. If a fuse was blown, would it even start?

ya theres no fuse to your starter. i had a :pokinit: ton of charging problems ended up taking it to a shop and replaced alot of stuff because are trucks are old you know? and dumb ass before us mess everything up.

chodycrawler

So it could Be a fuse, or not? I so confused.  :( my adapter plate just came from marlin today and I'm trying to put everything back together so I can have running and driving by this weekend. I have heard that I could be having a problem with my external regulator, if anyone has any clues, feel free to chip in an idea or two!
