I don't know about the cab swap, but you should definitely consider a 2F motor swap mate! Criekey! :dunno:

Replaced Inner axle seals with HD marlin seals.

Filled knuckles with grease. There was barely any grease left. It was mostly water and gear oil.

Repacked all bearings

Made gaskets for all the rest of the stuff

Had to grind the v6 brake pads and remove wear indicator to fit my knuckles.

Finished Product

There's nothing I hate more than salt.  I'm from northern Indiana, so I know what you're working with.  My first vehicle (85 4runner rusted to pieces.  We tried to save it numerous times, but the salt was just too much.

Anyway...looking forward to the build - looks like you have a good start.

:yesnod: But I don't have to change my motor oil until May 5th, 2011.

About $130 for the oil, AMSOIL oil filter, and Engine flush with 25% off preferred customer discount

I just picked up an 88 Pickup with a blown head gasket for $500.

The cab is in very good shape for michigan. Only a few rust spots.
The frame has no rot and is in great shape.

Gonna eventually swap all the 4runners drivetrain into it.
