Stereo messed up

Whenever i turn to the right the sound cuts out, but the subs still bump... just the sound cuts out only when i turn to the right... whats wrong???

If you are sitting still and turn to the right does it cut out? and sounds like there is a short in a wire maybe from getting twisted up in the steering

check your body to frame ground, and body,frame to engine grounds.   also if you installed a big amp, did you ground it just to the body or did you ground it to the frame

I ground my amp to a bolt that bolts the roll bar to the frame. and where are the body to frame grounds?

My stereo does the same thing when i talk on my CB. I later found out that the coax for the CB was on the 2gauge power wire to my amp and it somehow messed up everything. It was weird

look at the back of your head,  should have a ground strap from rear of head to firewall,  and on right side motor mount should be one there

Hey Glen,
I know his ears have trouble at hearing when he turns his head, but do you think a ground wire for his brain would help him out that much? Why run the ground wire from his head to the engine block? Just mount is behind the drivers head rest and he can take it off each time he gets out of his rig.

Found out what it was, the right front speaker was the one cutting out, killed the rest :( fixed now :greengrin:
