Might be a repost but could not find it. Its a older video to but it sucks. Could you imagine just standing there watching your car burn to nothing? I would cry and freak out probably even be in shock. But at least no one was hurt.

They had one but they were trying to put the fire out thru the air vents, and not using it on the fire at the back of the motor..

Looks like an insurance scam to me..  Crack or make a hole in the fuel at the right spot and the hot exhaust manifold does the rest. Just drive it run till it lights up and let her burn.  Then it  :phone: "Hi can you pay off the my car that I could never afford to buy any ways.." .   :yesnod:

if it wasn't a scam then those two are a couple of morons. they had or retrieved a fire extinguisher and attempted to put out the fire. but before that attempt they wasted valuable time filming the unfortunate event...from multiple angles. wtf?

It looks staged to me ... :dunno:

I have sat and watched my mom's car burn to the ground and couldn't do anything about it. We didn't have an extinguisher, and it was loaded with Christmas goodies from Grandma for our whole family. It was terrifying - I was only 8 though.... and REALLY pissed that only 1 person stopped to help us before the cops/FD showed up. Mom was so convinced it was going to explode (fuel tank) but the only exploding that happened was the tires.

ya that would suck, i think i would cry if that happened to my truck. i used to have a fire extinguisher but i had to use it on an old chevy that the brakes locked up on and it got the hub so hot that the grease inside the axle turned into liquid and leaked out of the axle causing it to catch on fire. not my truck but i was glad that we got it put out instead of hie truck bureing to the ground at a gas station lol.

They probably thought - oh - a little flames - how cool.  Then they figured out it was a problem by the time the heat had got through the firewall and set the plastic on fire.  It's tons easier to replace a motor than the entire car.  Just make sure the extinguisher is good for electrical fires as well.
