flex and suspension set up
« on: Dec 24, 2009, 10:18:44 PM »
Hey I know there is the ultimate flex thread but I thought it would be cool to start a thread of rigs flexed out and list the suspension set ups.

Heres mine with procomp 3" rears mixed with stock rears up front and ranger springs mixed with s10s in the rear bump stopped with 2" of uptravel front and rear

89 extra cab stock on 1 tons.
83 rolled with built toy axles
92 2wd DD
first gen cab

Check out the build.

Front:
2" 4x4 Labs drop spring hanger moved 1.5" forward of stock, stock front waggy springs, 6" shackle (stock shackle mount), 12" Bilstein 5125s.

Rear:
63" Chevy springs, 4 pack + overloads, double shackle: 6" shackle and stock 4WD chevy shackle, Bilstein 14" 5125s.

I was in one hell of a bind here, first time I ever said to myself "I need hydro" :gap:

Takes a lot to hang a tire.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

My trail rig: On 38's - frame 30" from the ground
The rear axle is about 5" shorter then the front so it needs to be lengthened for better flex and satiability.

In the rear.... 2 leaf + overload 63" Chevy springs
Double shackle setup – 4 1/2" (stock Chevy) to a 7 3/4"
4" lift blocks

Up front....
Wrangler springs with lower 2 leaves removed
About 3” drop hanger
4 1/2" lowered rear spring hangers with jonny joints
5” shackles

3 CAT scans a MRI and some time with the shrink and it's comfirmed. I'm just not right in the head.
