front axel taking out my third

hey everyone i have a question im getting an ez locker off a buddy of mine its going on to a v6 third.  Now my question is how do i take out my third member ive never done axels in general so im asking what the quickest way really please im a sponge at this point tell me all of your knowledge anything will help thank you.  :beer:

if you jack it up off the ground then you can't loosen the lug nut's.   LOL.

Pull locking hub cap and remove snap ring.
Unbolt seal/felts on back of knuckle.
Unbolt brake caliper and tie out of the way. (can be skipped if you have long brake lines)
Unbolt steering arm. (leave bottom knuckle cap alone)
Pull entire outer knuckle assembly off of axle.
Swap in your parts.
Put it back together.
It's a big-time shortcut since you don't need to mess with the 54mm socket or wheel bearings.
