Just thought I'd post up and say "hello".

Just picked up an '86 4-runner SR5 earlier today. I have big plans for it!  :beerchug: I used to have an '04 Nissan Frontier with a few mods done to it, too bad I rolled it last month. I'm going to miss that truck, but I won't miss how much Nissan aftermarket stuff costs!

Hello from Tucson.

Our first Toyota and first new vehicle was an 86 4Runner. Had over 450K on it when our kid rolled it. The automatic that was in it is still running in a friends truck. You're gonna love Toyota trucks.

Good question!  :talkingn:

I ordered a bunch of parts for the truck recently. I was going to post up a build thread in the "project build-up" section, but it won't let me just yet. Anyway, here's what I have so far:

SAS kit
MC Dual T-Case Kit
Chevy Spring Conversion Kit
ARP Knuckle Studs
V6 Brake Booster

So, the verdict is in. I love this truck!

Peacesells63 hooked me up with a high pinion diff for my front axle (he got that for me too). This little truck should be a nice DD/Trail truck when it's all said and done.  :D
