The Situation:
So my girlfriend and I are planning a 3 night stay in Denver to visit a friend who moved down there. We cannot stay with our friend as his landlord would flip for whatever reason. I have been looking at hotels, but they all require someone who is 21+ to check in.

The Problem:
Neither I, nor my girlfriend, are 21+

The Solution:
?

And Then?
Profit!

Ok, all kidding aside, is there any way around this? What if I use someone else's card on the room who is 21+? Or does someone who is 21+ really need to be there to check in? We have never tried getting into hotels before, and I do not want any surprises when I get down there.  :help:

wierd, i got a room when i was 18, and checked in myself, when i was 18.... no issues @ all. maybe it's a state thing, have you checked out all the local hotels?

Thats intresting. Have you tried other hotels? call them and ask sometimes websites are missleading. I used to rent hotles all the time when I was under 21 for hotel partys and travling and never had a issue. I'll google some stuff really fast and see what I can dig up.

The biggest problem is I am trying to stay to hotels in Northglenn area, and under $75 a night... yeah not many choices for a decent place lol.

Ohh.. sorry lol. I'll get on that tomorrow night I'm out got a 14 hour day tomorrow. I've never been to denver so I dont know how big it is. I dunno you can legally have visiters for up to 2 weeks time unless their is something on his lease. I'd look in to that. Because then you can stay there and save money for other stuff. If it says nothing in his lease your good to go and there is nothing his landlord can say or do about it unless he wants to get all legal but he'd loose anyways because your allowed to have guests aslong as their not going crazy or like 38 people in a 1 bedroom.

He is staying there virtually rent free and I really don't want to screw anything up for him. He is having a hard enough time already, I really don't want him to loose his place. It sure would make things a lot easier (and cheaper!) if we could just stay there though!

Hmmm, never had an issue when I was that young in getting a room. My wife and I used to get one almost every weekend before we were married. :eyebrow: :ladys-man:

Found a hotel that allows 18+ to check in. All is well!

Whenever I checked into a hotel, I've never been asked for age.  Just a credit card.
