Anyone from Denver remember this truck?

I bought this truck up there last Feb. The guy I bought it from was named John. Can't remember his last name, and the title is in a safety deposit box. Anyway, He asked if I would keep him updated as to the progress of his old rig, and I don't have any way of contacting him. He seemed to in his early 20's and worked for some sign company putting up highway signs.

Anyway, any contact info is greatly appreciated. On the the pics of said truck..

I love the "itllbuffout" on the side

It had the "sh" in front of it when we bought it, (**itllbuffout)and my wife (being a sunday school teacher for kiddos) refused to pull it home since we live in a small town (1400 people), until I spray painted the s and h off. "people would talk" is what she said. LOL

Two new fenders and some new paint later, it looks like this..

Got a new grill and marker lights for it, and there's a pile of tube in the garage for an exo.

Looks good orange. I like brighter colored trucks I'm thinkin of going kawi green maybe. I'd try over on yotatech it seems there was a sticker on there for that maybe they might know? What did you do with the old fenders I'd buy that one just for the itllbuffout on it.

Look at Van Sickle Implement paint. It's a single stage oil-based enamel. You can buy it at Big R. This color's is called Case Flambeau Red. you definately need the catalyst/ hardener for it. if not it'll take several weeks to dry.

sorry, it was thrown out several months ago. They were real trashed. If it'd been damage while we had it, I'd have kept them.

I live an hour north of Amarillo, Tx. Yota parts are few and far between down here, so I come to Denver every once in a while and buy parts, or a truck (or two).
Two years ago, I snagged an '85 4runner from Parker for $2500.00. It had a stack of reciepts for EVERYTHING done to the truck dating back to 1994!! All stock, except for 4.37's in the diffs and a lockright in the rear. here's a pic...

Yup, I picked up a small thing of Van Sickle tractor paint.  I ended up with A.C Orange.  I really like the Case Flambeau Red though!  Might have to copy you :)  Thanks for the tip on the hardener.

No it's in my name, but it'll have his moms name as the PO, and her last name was different than his. I do know their phone# wasn't listed.

Can you locate some Flambeau red spray paint?
The Big R here quit carrying it, and they say they can't get that color anymore. Why, I don't know, but it is still listed on Van sickle's website.
I need a case of it for future touch ups.

Just checked the Big R here in Pueblo.  They have the aerosol spray cans in Flambeau Red.  I asked about the gallons of it, they can order it but it's by the case (4 one gallon cans).  I only need one gallon & would have to have to buy 4 $30 gallons of orange paint just to use 1 $30 gallon of it.  Kinda defeats the purpose of painting it with cheap paint :)

Anyways, I bought an aerosol spray can of the Flambeau Red and yeah, it's the color I want.  Figures :D

So I can un-straighten it again in the rocks?  I might work on some of the big hits but it will be far from perfect :D
