:welcome: From Upland. So since we all know where Saphire is who is going to volunteer to go cut the gate down at the top so we can go play on the fire roads.  :flamer:

Ha ha, that would be nice if the fire roads were still drive able, most are washed out...

Which gate? I thought the roadblocks up there are rockpiles that the new homeowners put up to keep everyone out? Of course I haven't been up there in 15 years, so all I know is hearsay. Maybe I'll go take a look today. What's up Robert!

No way, I used to go all the way to Lytle Creek. When did they shut it down. Of course I lived there in '97.

I was up there on an enduro like four years ago and the low road was washed out by a land slide. I haven't taken the high road in a long time. But I heard it was a land slide issue also. The gates are the first issue. It was nice to have a close spot to just run around.

The high road has been closed since the Grand Prix fire. They opened the Lytle Creek side to the campground last winter but it's not the same, the campsite sucks now. Used to be in a forest of 100 foot trees, now it's all gone, nothing over ten feet tall and no shade. Looks like your thread got jacked Robert! You should post up some pix of your runner to get it back on track...

Where is that? We hit Cleghorn a couple weeks ago and it was like that. Your pictures make me think Lytle Creek? If you have not seen it yet you should check out wrecked4x4.com nice place to meet some locals.
