Well for the last 3 years I've wheeled the hell out of it. I have been running a fresh 22re with a cold air intake, header, and 2 1/2 exhaust. I had duels and 4.88 gears and 38.5 claws. Every year during huntin' season me and my brother-in-law have driven this yota all over the state. We have trusted Toyota's to take us out to the middle of no where and back. Many times if we had of broken down we would have had to hike out 25 miles plus. That's trust in your rig and skills.

Earlier this spring I built 22rte turbo engine with the R151 trans and 23spline duels. I haven't wheeled it since all of the mods. Still workin' on it.

I just bolted in my 3rd member with 4.88's and detroit locker. The drive shaft is bolted in and the brakes are bled. I notched the rear body so the bumper is frenched in. I need to weld in the rear bumper. Get a battery hold down, put in the 2 inch rear blocks and heat rap the top of the exhaust to keep my brake lines cool. It's pretty close to it. I ordered a bell housing plug from marlin and They got it to me super quick. There was some wheelin trip last weekend and they had a bunch of real orders to fill and they still got my 12 dollar part to me in under 3 days. They have treated me so good every time I needed something. great company. I'll still have a lot to do after top truck. Still need to weld in some sheet metal for the rear tubs, make the soft top fit, weld the tail gate skin on and put in my stauns. I'm sure Theres a lot i'm for getting. I will try to get around to posting some pics after I get the bumper on. I've been workin' on it 2-4 hours a night after work.

Oh ya!!! I made it to top truck!!! It wasn't easy. I found out that turbos don't like full engine oil pressure, And I'm hitting about 80 lbs right at the rev limiter. I also made the mistake of buying a made in China turbo. The oil seals in the turbo couldn't handle the pressure and  oil leaked into the exhaust side of the turbo and smoked like a pregnant dog. I borrowed Turbo Lukes turbo and hoped it would fix it. It still smoked but not as bad. So I ran it anyway. Came out sunday to warm it up and found a leaky o ring for one of the injectors. I changed that out and got her running again. I got almost to the fair grounds and had to stop at a light and one of my allpro stainless brake lines blew out right where it's crimped into the fitting. I got soooo lucky no one was in front of me 'cause I rolled right through the light. My bud Manly was right behind me and we made a b-line for renegade and grabbed a stock one and threw it on. I had an awesome day. I got 5th place out of 24 trucks. I haven't wheeled it since all of the mods. I beat the crap out of it and She held up and I didn't break anything!!! My Bud Manly was the only one taking pics and The video of the mini rubicon got erased by accident. That totally sucks!! I must of got the front end up in the air 5 feet getting through the gates at the end. I beat out some high dollar rigs. Manly is posting them on youtube right now. Look up (top truck challenge bozeman mt 2010)  By the way in the frame twister I hooked my foot on the winch controller and it ripped the wires out of it. Too lame. What you also can't see is the 49.5 holes dug by Mikes bronco after the first 2 loges. I knew I had to make it past that and I did. In the mud pit I missed 3rd gear but she pulled pretty hard anyway.

cool, if ya got any questions let me know. It was a lot of work but worth it.  The next thing on my  list of things to do is get a Garrett  GT2252 turbo. I still can't get over the fact that the drive train held up to the power and 42's. God I love Toyota. The Dana axles were dropping like flies. Broken D60 hub, D30 stub shaft, D44 stub and a couple of hubs. Ha ha.

Well I got the oil restrictor on the turbo and drove it home from Renegade and...... no smoke! Oh ya!!!!  Now I'm finishing the body work on the Bob job. I still need to finish the wheel wells (my duct tape and cardboard worked for top truck),make the soft top fit again and install my stauns. I ordered a Garrett t3/t4 and it should be here on Friday. Oh and one last thing, I sold my Z71 and bought a cherry 1983 long box yota on 33 BFG's with a 5 inch super lift, 3 1/2 in the rear, new motor, Weber carb and Hedman header and flowmaster exhaust. For 2 grand. I'll try and get some pics posted.
