Ya there huge alright. I really want some pitbull rockers in a 42. Or some iroks. I'm gonna do some side jobs this summer maybe I can get some by the time the snow flies.

I got all of the tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights all wired up today. I also took off my soft. I'm gonna paint my buddies '83 Z28 camaro and make a little money. I'm gonna buy some ARP head studs and while i'm at it get some new brake pads and drums for the taco rear.

Not soon enough! Gonna by some ARP head studs. I don't want to heat cycle the engine any more until I install them. I also need to move the shackle mounts back. I need to put some rufs and ditch the allpro buggy springs that are badly sagged and bent. The taco rear needs new brakes and my buddy needs to  order me some gears for it.( I gave him my v6 rear for a ring and pinion) Still need to build a cross member for the duels and I still want to bob the rear. I also want to cut and trim the fire wall. I'll need to trim the rear almost as much as you did. I want all of the flex I can get. The snow gets deep and rutted up with snow drifts. I also need to install my stauns!
My two boys have been in wrestling for the last 4 months. Almost all of my free time (weekends included) have been spent at practice and tournaments. The last one is this weekend. But I'm painting my buddies 1983 Z28 to make some money. So I figure as long as it's done by the time the snow flies I'll be happy.

Two of my friends have the stauns on their trucks. One '72 blazer on tons with 41 iroks. The other is turbo luke with 35 bias claws. They both love them. I decided to go with the stauns for there light weight over true bead locks. Plus I've seen too many inner beads pop off  with just outer locks.

I ordered my ARP head studs from summit racing today, should be here next week. After I paint my buddies Z/28 I'll order my rear gears. I've decided to get a Detroit locker for the rear instead of welding it. Two weeks ago me and my brother-in-law went wheeling up flathead pass and sheared off the side gear in my old v6 rear end. It lasted about 3 years and maybe 10,000 miles on the street and trail with 38.5 baja claws so I can't complain. But I don't want to risk it. Rob ordered a full spool for it. They don't make one for a tacoma yet.

Well, no up dates. I've been really busy at work. We got a real nasty hail storm. I've also been workin' on the Z/28 I got it painted on Saturday. I've got to wet sand it and buff it. I'll have that done and put back together this week. I got my Claws back. Now to sell the Swampers or the Claws? The 42's are a lot taller than the Claws. But I almost think the Claws would float over the snow better. What do ya all think?

I rolled the claws up next to the 42's and the there at least 5 inches taller than the claws. I've got the stauns and the tsl's have a big wide foot print with 1 lb in em. I was thinkin' about taken the groover to them and cutting one more groove in each of the smaller lugs. I'll have just as much ground clearence with no air in them.

Well I got the camaro done. I got to start working on the Yota yesterday. I cut off the rear shackle mounts and moved them back and got them welded up today. Tomorrow I'm gonna start bobbing the box. I can't wait! I've got a lot of work to do before our top truck challenge on September 28.

Well I've been workin' hard on the runner.I got the shackle mounts moved back. I took ten inches out of the box and that's all welded up. I cut the fire wall all the way to the body mounts and re-welded them. I ended up cutting a little of the rear body mounts out and adding some plate steel to them. The turbo is raped in some header rap. My 3rd member is up at Renegade gettin' the gears and Detroit locker installed. Last year I broke the cross support ears off of the T-Maxx winch. I lucked out and Renegade had some parts for it and had just what I needed so that's all back together. Tomorrow I'm gonna go up to Renegade and use the plasma cutter and shorten the rear bumper brackets to move the bumper in to the body. I've got 3 weekends 'til our top truck challenge. I'm gonna be there come hell or high water. I'm going to go out to the garage and take some pics. Keep in mind my fab skills are not nearly as good as pumpkin toys. My truck is never going to be as clean as yours dude. Wish you lived a little closer. I could use some help cleaning up my sloppy skills.
