:dunno:  Like a Detroit, or a Lock Rite, but maybe smoother?.. It's on Marlin You know it's got to be worth a try...If it's smoother then a detroit, then I may be looking for one myself.  Price is not bad and I don't wheel hard...

My understanding is it's just like a Detroit. Having looked at one of each for the same application, it looks like the Grizzly functions the same as a Detroit gear/spring setup.

I dont think that will work on his axle. If its a non TRD truck it will be an "8.4" axle.
If your looking for cheap but good id go lockright. That's what I run in my taco and its been going strong for 25k
Some chant and meditate, I shift into 4Low.

Rockin a 99 Single Cab Taco, Locked lifted and armored sittin on 35" MTR Kevlars.

 That would be why he gave us the axle code.......B04A....The "B" means an 8 inch ring gear( Even the 8.4 inch rear end uses an 8 inch ring gear),  The "04" gives us the ratio of 4.56:1, and last but not least the "A" means it's a 2 pinion open diff.

That is of course if it's Vin number starts with 4Txxxxxxxx( which mean it's not made in Japan)...
Now on the off chance it's got a Vin starting with JTxxxxxxx   The code is not valid because the JT Trucks use a letter and three number for the axle code...To get the same setup the JT code would be....G252 meaning an 8 inch ring gear a ratio of 4.556, and 2 pinion open diff.
:welcome: to the world of codes and specs....You did invest in headache pills right.. :ack:
