New from Montana!
« on: Oct 21, 2009, 05:11:44 PM »
:turtle: Hey guys glad to be part of the marlin group. Best products ever!! A year and half ago I added a Marlin front 5" SAS kit to my 86 p/u longbed. Out back im running 63" chevy springs, chromo axles, Aussie locker, 5.29's, and all sitting 35" Stt's. Its powered by a performance longblock from Sunwest Motors thats ported, polished, cammed, lcheader, and Weber Carb. I made my bumpers and rock sliders in highschool and they havent failed me yet. Much more to come!!Ill add pics when i figure out how to.  :turtle:

Thanks guys. I just moved down to Helena from Great Falls, to take my second and third year of welding school. Yeah bozeman is pretty bad ass. Just a fun Montana College Town. Lots of tree huggers there. Its where alot of the outa state (rich people from Cali) move and think they own it. But its a beautiful city. So is Helena tho.  :yesnod:

What part of Oregon you from? I met a kid in my class that just moved down from the portland area with an 87 xtra-cab SAS'd. We are probably gonna head over there during Spring Break and hit up Browns Camp, Sand Lake, and go ride Bachelor

If you come early enough in july bring your yota and go wheeling. Montana 4x4 Association has a descent size rally not to far from bozeman.

yeah i know what you mean. Idk about you right now but this area is getting pounded with snow. The local ski mountain has gotten 40 inches since sunday and 26 in the last 24hrs. Sucks for the guys who have elk camps up in that area.
