Feeler 2wd Toyota pickup blown engine
« on: Oct 12, 2009, 12:35:35 PM »
Posting this for a friend, he has a 84-88 toyota pickup (im thinking its a 86+ but not sure)
single cab 2wd
22r with a thrown rod
auto tranny
body is decent, red in color
been sitting for a few years so there would be back registration, he has the title though.

we are trying to guage interest in this truck, as is or possibly with a running motor.

I was thinking $500 as is, would make a great candidate for a truggy.

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

I hate to say it, but he's likely looking at maybe $200ish.  Those trucks seem to be a dime a dozen in running condition, but the killer for him is it's blown and has a few years of back registration due.  Not trying to bust balls, just my :twocents:
