In need of a distributor for a 22r
« on: Oct 08, 2009, 12:34:08 PM »
I removed my post for an ignitor or coil.

After troubleshooting, I found that it may be the pick-up in my distributor.

The problem I've been having is that my truck intermittingly dies for no reason. It'll run great, idle fine and all of a sudden...dead. Thought it was the heat...nope. I pulled the coil wire and was still getting spark and to test the carb I tried starter fluid just before it was about to die. Still died!  :smack:

Had a toyota mechanic tell me that the pickup in the dizzy would cause similiar symptoms.

Anyways....any one got a distributor laying around for a 22r? :wink2:
