There's a bunch of links on a Yahoo! search, in fact I'm watching a YouTube video of it right now. Looks tough.

yea, i've found lots of links with pics and videos, but nothing that actually has direction, location, or even gps points.  nothing on this place.  i even looked it up in a trails map and i couldn't find it.  a few places near by from what i read up on are defense mine and lookout city.  can't find directions to either one of them.  this is crazy.  someone has to know where this place is.

No sir, Have not been wheeling since I saw you last!! But I overheard a contractor at work talking about it. I don't know where to find the trails either.

i just talked to a buddy that is heading up friday night to last chance canyon.  he thinks its near paniment valley.  i've wheeled and ridden dirk bikes all through spangler and can't think of anywhere in that area that looks like it might be the trail.  planning on heading up there saturday to check it out.  i'll start at spangler and probably end up in paniment.  google earth has defense mine on it which is supposed to be in the series of trails that snake bait is a part of.  hopefully we'll find it.  i'll post back up on sunday with an update.

there are a group of guys that live in Ridgecrest. I talked to one of the guys before and there are mountains I believe south/south east of town. they are keeping the area secret but he said its a lot like the hammers. sorry thats all i got.

lol. yea that seems to be all i can get from anyone too.  have been invited to go up with a group a few times now, it was bad timing for me though and wasn't able to.  i'm sure i'll get up there soon enough.  i'de just rather go up with a small group before hand and scope it out than go up with a group thats run it a bunch of times and end up biting off more than i can chew, if you know what i mean.

only person i know that goes out there all the time is richard guthier(i think thats how you spell it.). he has the yellow xj team naxja buggy.  none of the group has gps coordinates, and they don't want to try to explain how to get there.  i just need to make sure next time i get invited i make time to go.
