Mini, looking good as always  .   Yota87Truck, nice stuff. That PAS has done you well .

Here are a few from a place most of you should know  . I have been playing around in CS3.  :dunno:

Looks good J!
Try this trick:
Duplicate Layer, Change new layer to vivid color, go to select>color range, fuzziness 100, click on the dark areas, select>feather 100, copy, paste, change layer #2 back to normal, change layer #3 to screen.
It takes a while to play with it, but it will lighten your dark areas without blowing out your whites.

You can also make your bright areas darker doing the same thing, just select the light areas and make the new layer multiply.

What was your ISO on those pictures? And how did you accomplish that last one? Very nice.

I always shoot on ISO 100, it gives you a cleaner pic.
All of the shots above were shot with a fixed 50mm 1.8 Canon lens.

The last pic is just a regular shot of the bridge/city.
To get the effect:
Use Polar Coordinates then duplicate layer, flip duplicate horizontally change layer to lighten, color balance and crop.

Here is the same trick with a 360* panorama

Is the Mindkiller photo just a really big pan? The two photos you posted have flip points. I do not see anything close to that in the Mindkiller photo.  :headscratch:

The mind killer photo is a 360* panorama shot with 32 photos combined then flipped and polar'd.
Mine has flip points because I don't have a 360* shot that I can use to test the method yet, but I will :yesnod:

Ok, made a 360 pan planet out of my back yard.
Next time I think I'll use more "earth"

how can you flip a 360? if you flip it won't you be getting double? i don't think i understand what you mean by flip because to "flip" in my mind means take what you have on one side, flip it to the other side to make a whole (circle, square, whatever). all that is though is a duplicate of what you started with.

how does a 360 get flipped?

Yota-Freak

720? its 4D not 3D lol idk makin up crap. lots of awsome pics on here.

JUST, picked it up and I am about shitting my pants to try it out. Got it from Borrowlenses.com for about $110 for 7 days plus the insurance. It's going with me to Pismo. I'll be posting pictures on Sunday night.

Just screwing around I took like 10 pictures. It's very overcast and not well lit at all, that said, these came out great compared to my 18-55.  :yikes: This lens will be mine   .

ISO 100, 1/40, f3.5, 145mm

ISO 100, 1/40, f2.8, 135mm

you flip it vertically after you stitch the photos in to one picture.

b*std!!!   I want to go there so bad!!!  :tantrum:  Especially, this time of year.
Last time we tried to get up there, there was a rock slide that stopped us.  We were like 30 minutes away and we were denied.  :rivers:

But we are planning a trip to Yellowstone in July.   8)  And the Tetons!!
