The springs that I have is a 3 pack with over load, total of 4.  What add-a-leafs are you talking about?   Will this flex of the springs? Do you think it might bring the rear up a few more inches?

I was thinking I was going to bring the rear up some more any ways, for the extra weight of the passengers, wheeling gear and ex-o cage.

Also, what is the general rule of thumb about the longest length of rear shackles?

no more than 6" usually
Colorado...its where the cool kids live

Right now I use 12" bar stock, from center eye to center is about 10 inches.  So If I shorting them, do most people using block or do an add-a-leaf?

BTW, thank you all for  the info..
