I'm going to be setting up a v6 3rd for my runner just need to know some numbers.

I need the torque specs for the pinion gear preload. then need the torque spec on the pinion gear with the ring gear installed.

I don't know if there is a "torque" spec per se on the pinion nut.  If you go to Zuk's page at www.gearinstalls.com

He always seems to crank the crap out of the pinion nut.  What he ends up checking is the preload in inch-lbs.  He has different values...I think it's like 9 or 10 in-lbs for new bearings, and less for used.

Do your reading, cause only a solid spacer will have a torque spec and preload at that spec.  A crush sleeve will be crushed to desired pre-load.  Go with solid, and take your time, a few simple tools and test bearings will make the job easier.
