hey when you guys went up to bald mtn did dinkey creek road have ice on it? and how did the spool work on icy roads?

no its been pretty warm up there. id say at night or super early in the morning the road may freeze up.
  just dont accelerate to much in turns.  you can drive it like a granny till you get used to it. you'll be fine.

no but it's an 85 housing and i'm running an 83 in my truck
so i couldn't pass it up.   i guess i called him about an hour after he posted it on CL

i took it up to bald today, it was a lot of work just to make it to the trail head.

it was fun though, i didn't get stuck once today

no tow straps or tire chains necessary

i havn't been on here in a while.

lately ive just been wheeling the crap out of it and replacing what breaks,
in the past month or two i have replaced the g54 with a w56
got a new marlin clutch, a new long spline front drive line and the coolest addition i found a used inchworm 5 to 1 gear and put it in my rear case.
