If I had to guess I'd say it is down to the floor now.  The last pic I got texted to me was at 5:30 and there wasn't much left standing.

Just got another pic, all that's left on the deck is a few scraps and the mattress from the looks of it.  I'll have her post pics on TC and I'll do another copy past here.

As promised.

Time for the latest installment of "RV to Crawler Hauler"

Today the first thing we did was make a trip to the dump.  Then we started more tear down.  Me being the absent minded one that I can be - forgot to bring the camera out until about mid day.

As you can see we got the walls and front off the forward portion and we pulled the roof off and flipped it over to finish stripping down the sheet metal.

what was left of the back portion

from the other side

stripping down the back end

back door is gone, and a "pantry" that had probably 40 pounds of dry beans, 5 or 6 10 pound bags of flour, various spices, an empty box of bisquick, several packs of coffee filters and various other things.

Frankenyota91 working on pulling stuff out

We would often use the wiring to our advantage

There's the backside of the fridge .......starting to lean pretty good there

Reco Very giving it a pull

Well I actually took a video at this point....but if Trashy wants to post it when he gets home he can.  The wires ended up breaking, but Reco Very grabbed the perfect spot and gave it a little tug.....

A few more axe hits and tugs and down came the back end

Well we worked on getting more stuff loaded up for another dump run and while doing that it got dark.  We finished pulling the back wall off so what is left of the roof could sit flat

There is still some cabinet pieces, what's left of the toilet, and a couch still under the roof.  But this is what is left to pull off.  Part of that is also the other half of the roof rolled up into a burrito that we set back up on the chassis to get it off the yard.

One more good day and it will all be gone.  So far two runs to the dump and the 3rd is loaded and ready to go first thing in the morning.

I took a load of junk to the dump yesterday...  That's about it.

The floor in this thing is 1" plywood...  Too bad the whole back 10' is all rotted away, I could have damned near just left the floor as is and driven the truck right up there.

Not yet, still cleaning up the mess and taking crap to the dump.  Once that's done it's game on for the buildup.

We finally got the letter from the city that says you have 10 days to clean up your crap before we do it for you and charge you out the ass...  It's getting cleaned up quickly...  :gap:  The chassis is almost bare, if the dump wouldn't have closed early yesterday I'd have gotten the rest of the the remains cleaned up rather than have a loaded truck and trailer sitting here.  :headshake:

I'll post pics later today.

I guess there is a new city code enforcement nazi running around here.  Not that I disagree with them complaining about our mess, honestly I totally agree it needed to be cleaned up, but with me being gone so much lately and the wife working 14-16 hour days we didn't have time nor the motivation to get it done.  She just happened to have this weekend off and I had a long yet easy week this week so we got motivated right before the letter came in the mail... :hahaha:

I guess she's treating the city code like a HOA contract, ANYTHING out of code gets a letter, she takes pictures and writes up very careful descriptions of the violations.  Like I have a pile of scrap metal I haven't had the time to haul in, there is a stack of 5 tires on the corner of the garage, yup listed that too.

I'm surprised she didn't say anything about the rodeo parked on the street facing the wrong way with no tabs on it...  I guess it's hard to pin that one on me when it's not registered to me eh? :gap:

Meh it's not that big of a deal.  Hoping to have the chassis stripped down and everything cleaned up by next weekend so we're in the correct time frame so she might forget about us.  If you are a repeat violator I guess she makes your life suck.  I don't plan on getting to that point.

That would get real old real quick.  You should go leave annoying notes on their doors just push their buttons a little bit.  Hey when do we get to see some more pictures of the build.

Indeed there is...

The frame is bare up to in front of the axles.  The floor ahead of there is pretty good other than where the kitchen sink was but we're taking it off when I get home this week.

Prior to cutting the floor off..

my buddies and i have torn down a couple camp trailers now and built utility trailers and car haulers. it takes us a little longer because we seperate the aluminum and wireing and turn it in for scrap metal. we also do it where we dont have to make dump runs though, we just pile it, gas it, and light it lol.
one thing after another
