RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

Hmmmm..."almost never breaks"...good to know!

I like that line too  :haha:  It's kinda like when somebody's selling something and say "brand new, only run for 500 miles"

not sure why but I LIKE IT!!!!!

You like it because you're a dyed-in-the-wool optimist?

Maybe it's just me but, I've always thought Tough Truck races were pretty cool. If I had the money I'd give it some thought.

I would drive the :pokinit: out of that truck! It looks like a blast! :burnout:

I've wanted to build up a 2wd toy for tough truck ever since I caught the first tough truck competition many years ago.  I'd be a little leery of the f250 suspension though  :ack:

Yup, twin I-Beam with leaf springs though, not coils. Coils were on the rangers/bronco IIs and F-150s.

Plekto

Wait - SAS and racing it?  Seems like it would also beat the crud out of the driver as well...

Look at the first pic.  It looks like he has a solid axle and coil springs...

Then it must not be TTB F-250 stuff, because the F-250s used leafs. So either they made the F-250 TTB work with coils, or it is a solid front axle.

I've seen up to f350 with coils in the front

With solid axles, yes. But TTB in the F-250s was with leaf springs and was not available with F-350s. Someone should just contact the guy and ask if it is TTB or solid lol. If it is TTB it would make a pretty good tough truck as far as ride goes. Solid front would be rougher.

kneedownnate

I'm saying TTB!  Old work 67 f350 2wd had ttb and coils.  I had to do a double take, but I saw the thing for 14 years runnin that setup.

OHHH 2wd! Ok got you now. I was taslking 4x4.

kneedownnate

Oh yea, I always assumed he used 2wd suspension.  Gotcha on the 4wd being leaf, you're right on that one.
