I ran 27 spline longs on stock inners and didn't have any breakage issues with anything even with 42" tsl's. :D  But the original, they are still the best out there bar NONE.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

yep I have been thinking about ordering some 27 splines since I cant afford the 30's right now... I would think 27 splines with chromo inners would be fine?

When ever you blow a Birf, remove it ASAP. It can and will lock up your steering even in 2 WD. You can drive it without it in but you will loose some gear oil. I always shove a rag in the axle tube it help slow down the leaking.

yeah i would recomend removing it even if you are just driving around town.  it can occasionaly lock up your steering and all of the little pieces of broken axle will grind around inside your knuckle and beat the hell out of it.

the 27s are basically the same as the 30s. i gave mine hell for over 3 years. just get the 27s and when you can afford the inners, get those later.

yep thats what I was thinkin too I like how you can buy them in parts as to where the 30's you have to buy the whole kit...if they held up to you then I am sure I will be fine with them :beerchug:
