From what i understand   by FL  i do not need them  Or a front plate , tinted windows ,ect ect   BUT you can be stopped out of state and given a ticket EVEN though  they are Unjust in doing so . so that leaves you with 2 choices   1  you can go  back to that state and fight the ticket  or 2 you can mail in the fine .  Still BS if you ask me .   I think i will just  put some on just to  ease the possable hassel

Just do the speed limit & carry a box of donuts just in case & you should be fine.

Yes put on mud flaps its just one excuse a cop needs to stop a out of state rig. And it will happen
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

It all depends on how the law of the state you are in is writen. Some only pertain to vehicle registered in that state and other any vehicle on its roads. Where mud flaps are a saftey issue, it will prolly effect you,  i would put them on. The fuzz loves writen out of state people cause they know you are just going to pay and not fight it.
If you see it, its for sale.

Trust me its at the cops discretion, and its just a excuse to pull you over.

It also depends on what the oem equipment was at the time the car was purchased.  IIRC, mud flaps were standard equipment on Toyota 4x4's, so if this is the perception of the visiting state Legislature, you could likely be ticketed.  IMO  you don't really want to give Cops a reason to stop you, once they do you are open to all kinds of scrutiny.

Make some quick detachable ones, so when your wheeling, you can pull them off rather than rip them off. When you're back on the streets, just pop them in and be done with it.
