Transmission interchange ?

Quick tranny question... I have an 88 4runner with a w56b (top shift) tranny that is trash. I found a tranny that is out of a early 90s truck and is forward shift. Are they the same length, and can i just bolt it in without moving the crossmember etc.  :crossed:

I have the forward shift tcase as well.

yes if you have the tcase also then you can bolt them right in, no mods

well the tcase shifter hole MIGHT be different in the floor but that would be all

Sweet.... I thought so but didnt want to go to the trouble of getting it if it wasnt going to work... its an 3 hours away. Thank you
