« on: Oct 09, 2004, 12:17:34 PM »
I wanna stuff some 33" B.F.G's under my 97' rnr...The only thing I can find for a basic 2.5" susp. lift(since I changed my mind on BL) is from Superlift.I can't find a price on it.I would like to save on install fees,is it a lot of work,& can I do it with limited mech.  :headscratch:ability?               :help:                                         thanks in advance for feedback,THE RAT      :beerchug:

I would call up the companys that sell the lifts you want and just ask them what they got that will work with your rig. 8)
87 runner, 4" trailmaster lift, 33" TSL/SX, 5.29's V6 e-locker, 22re that cost too much

well I'm guessing that has coils so you may need to get a hold of a coil spring compressor

If you have coils thats the only thing u would have to worry about, i think. Depends on how you go about it. But other than that follow the instructions. If its IFS theres gonna be some welding and drilling, but other than that its pretty damn easy. me and friend did a 4" IFS lift a while back, wasnt hard, but took like 8 hours, so your gonna be in for a long haul.
86 Toyota 4runner, 33X12.5-15 Aurora RT/02's on Series 97 15X10 rock crawlers, 3" performance body lift, Rancho RS5000's... Soon to be Marlin 1200 Clutch, tube bumper front and rear, nerf bars and roof rack... future plans include SAS 5.29's detroits!

I am the Amazing Turtle! and I'm awarding you 49 points, increasing your Turtle Points!

almost every ifs lift  for a toyota requires no welding. the revtek lift is a complete bolt in. just some spacers and what not. if u can read u can install.
