Mark your calander for the Anual Toys on the Rocks Swap Meet / Show & Shine Event.  This year it will be on Saturday May 16th and hopefully it will be bigger again this year.  Last years event helped us raise funds that supported a variety of 4wd related and comunity functions.  We donated a huge bunch of bicycles to the anual Toys for Tots drive in Placerville!  We also were able to support Cantina for the Con, Rubithon, Cruise Moab, Rubicon Trail Foundation, & Marlin Roundup with donations to their events (all of which do alot of good work to keep our trails open).  Looks like we will have a great raffle this year with quite a ew more vendors than last year, a few of those supporting the event are the one and only MARLIN CRAWLER (thanks guys), 4wd Toyota Owner Magazine, Rising Sun 4wd Club / Cruise Moab, K & B Enterprises, Mt. Democrat (who let us use their great location!), and many more.  We will have spaces for those who want to bring stuff to sell (Flyer to be posted shortly), food vendors, and various community groups such as Search & Rescue with displays and public information.

SWAP MEET SPACES...........If you are planning to get a space at the Swap Meet, DO NOT MAIL IN YOUR FEE, pay at the door to make sure you get credit for your space. With the event only one week away it is too late to depend on Snail Mail.....space and entries will be the same price day of the event...

Thanks to all who endured the Highway 50 Fiasco on Saturday and made it to the event (Highway 50 was closed most of the day due to a Fed Ex Truck accident).  All in all it was a successful event and hopefully those who got turned around due to the highway 50 issue will not be discouraged and will try again next year.  A special thanks to Marlin & Christine for making the trek up from Fresno to make a personal appearance at the event (Christine, I apologize for not hiding "the good stuff" from Marlin which resulted in your truck going home with a bigger load than it came up with).  Also a special thanks to the big contingent from MTA who made the drive up from San Jose and helped make our event a success both with their large group of folks, and their generous purchase of raffle tickets (OK, they did make a pretty good haul on the raffle....seems I saw a Magellan GPS Nav set up going their way along with misc. other things).  And a huge thanks to all the raffle and event sponsors who made it all possiable, Marlin Crawler, USFS, Fit for Life, Mt. Democrat (who donates their lot each year), 4wheel Parts (for the winch), Spectre Off Road, Solon Fire, Rising Sun 4wd Club of Colorado, MTA, and many more who donated to the raffle.....Thanks!
