power steering help!!!

i have an 83 solid axle toyota pickup 4wd with a 22r and am wondering what all i need to put power steering on it any help whould be appreciated thanks

It's best to find a complete truck that has PS to just grab everything from at one time, like in a wrecking yard.

You will need the power steering pump, the bracket to mount it to the engine, the power steering resivor that mounts on the drivers side inner fender wall, the 3 power steering lines - 1 high side, 1 to the resivor, and 1 return to the pump, a power steering box, and then your set.

If you are going to change the box, why not install HySteer and use the IFS power steering box and get it mounted while you are doing all of this so you can just do it once at the same time. :trout:

thanks for the info can i get all that off a 86-95 independant front pickup or mayb even a car or whould it be totaly diffrent?
