a one piece will give you  :pokinit: for clearance.

89sastoyo

yeah I know, look at matts truck haha its got really bad clearance now that he did his. I think I might cut the hanger off and make a new one so the carrier is at the right angle or just raise it up if there is room if not just shim it to the right angle but we'll see.
Heres some pictures of the somewhat flat belly.

The ghetto piece of poop cross member I made as a temp for rolling around on and ended up wheeling with it lol

How high The t cases will sit

I cut it straight with the top of the reinforcement for the seat mounts then cut where it was needed to raise it up but i started with the straight cut that way i didnt have to make the whole tranny tunnel i just overlapped sheet metal and welded it so it was still as structural as before

Do you have a link to your build up?

Hah actually no i have duals but when we did the cases Coods helped me and i didnt really know how to do it but he didnt realize i had a forward shift tranny so we cut the shift rails for the forward shift case and converted it to top shift. When I put the cases in i had to leave the stock 4wd shifter in because in the top of the tranny its a one piece cover. I just left it because in the future i plan on buying a w56 because my third gear syncro is getting pretty bad and its annoying

i would sell it to him but with that big of tire he is just gonna break it. unless he can find the hardened pins but robs told me they dont sell them anymore. i have broken it twice so far thats why i welded.

toyotanner

well i have been running 37's and 39.5's with mine and have never broken it... maybe if he had someone set it up when he gets his gears put in it will work good and not break?

coods

:stopit: you and me already had this conversation. it worked great for the entire time i was running the 36's as soon as i got the 38s it broke. we cant really use your truck as comparison cause when you wheel you arent as hard on it as i am. i kind of have a heavy foot :burnout:

toyotanner

coods

well i wasnt gonna say it outloud. but im not gonna argue with you :gap: im just saying your nicer to your truck then i am to mine and if he wants to run it  and have something that last i would not suggest  a lockrite. i broke mine. tim with the forunner is having problems with his and huff first time out broke his and guess what it was installed by a shop

toyotanner

whatever you do adam dont listen to cody he doesnt know what he's talking about... you can do anything just dont weld the front :D
