first  is  the winch mount  then  i'll build off that,  the sides  of the bumper  are going back on  but im thinking  maybe a stinger

I'll trade you a high steer kit for the winch now that you cut off your bumper.

thats  no where near finished, but  the square tube  is  1 1/2 inch  and  .250  wall

the  plate  the  winch will sit on is  3/16,  i might  double that   just in case

but  i have  tube cut  to brase  from the bottom  up to the top of  the  wrap around,

wonder how a square tube  stinger would look

super truck,  i won a winch     so  i gotta build a bumper  to mount it to

Darn, I wish I could post my sketches for the 'Stinger' I built, those pics I sent don't show how easy it was.

bumper updates

greatly  improved my  approach angle,   bumper is  2 inches higher  and  2 inches  further back,  and  the lower  support  angle that comes off the frame  has been shortened  4 inches  and when i am done  will be another  2 inches  shorter 

then  some  "slider"  \ skid plate  will make  the  approach  MUCHO better

roll bar/ headache rack,   .250 wall 1 1/2 inch square tube

have you ever put that truck on a scale? I'd be curious to see what it weighs, since you build everything out of no less than .250" wall.
