4 & 5 Point Seat Belt / Harness Mounting... How did you do your's?

    Looking for ideas on how to mount my 5 point harnesses in the cab of my truck.  Do not have or want "full" interier cage (planing exo) but I am considering building a frame behind the seat from the floor to just below sholder level for this purpose. I do want the interier frame tied to the frame for strength and i plan to solid mount the cab as well. Post up some pics of how you have attached and mounted yours.

Not sure if i did it right and its not done yet but i bolted the lap belt portion where the existing seat belts were on the floor.I just unscrewed them and bolted it in.Ill try and get some pics of it for ya.

Its kinda hard without having tube ran inside the cab. What kinda chairs do u have?

Thanks guys, I have some Scat Sport Seats. I am gonna run some tube inside but just enough for the harness mounts.

Sounds like a plan if your gonna run SOME tube.... Might as well just build yourself a full on cage

that is what I was looking for.  

Are you using bolt in belts or wrap around belts in your truck?
Im planning to use bolt ins and use full circle tabs for the ancors.
How are your sholder belts actualy attached to the cage?

The sholders and just tied off to the tube. The lap belts and bolted to a tab bolted with a grade 8 bolt.. I still might throw the nut straps in also

Yea me and my son built those so they go through the floor and tie in directly to the frame same with cage

here is how I mounted my shoulder harness.

lap belts are under the rear seat bolts. I did plate the bottom rear so the bolts don't pull through.
