yea that was a really steep hill.. proably the steepest on the whole trail.. but he was straddling the rut and the right rear slipped right in,, he caught it just in time.. and thats not his samurai,, thats my moms sammy and my aunt and her boyfriend were down from washington state visiting, so we decided to go on a charoleau gap run and let them run the samurai,, so needeles to say,, yea he pooped his pants,, we needed to get a new driver side seat because it was a cone ^ from the pucker factor!

well it was that guys first time EVER on that trail, and his first time EVER driving a samurai.. and a jeep is way more stable than a samurai,, id like to see that girl do that in a samurai and not flip it,,aint gonna happen..and buddy,, the pucker factor was because the steepnes of the hill,, youl have no idea how steep it is till you run the trail

and for that guy,, it was a big pucker factor,, he was the least experienced out of the group

One thing that strikes me as odd about this thread, is how unnecessary most of it is.

A guy posted about a situation he considered near the edge...if others thought it wasn't as extreme as it could have been they should have done...nothing. At some point in our trip towards learning how to drive...we've all done something "extreme" that we now consider mundane. Kind of reminds me of other forums (HAMB) where everyone feels obliged to opine on every thread. Chill out, enjoy what you can and don't blast people who aren't where you're at.

I totally agree, and it also depends on the wb as to when a vehicle lifts that tire and a Sammi is quick to lift, just look at my current backround on my computer. I would normally climb this in a Toyota and maybe lift a little but in my Sammi it got interesting.
