Hi!
Maybe someone can assist.  My 1977 hilux front disc brakes grab, as if something is getting skewed and grabbing during braking.  I did a visual inspection, noticed nothing out of the norm.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Ernest

need more info, grab? do you mean pulling one way? or just going grab-grab-grab- as you make a stop. butt stops str8? if you use your E-brake (in a parking lot with on one around) and stop slower does it grab?

A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

i can't determine if it pull left or right during breaking, it seems to go straight.  it grabs and holds, until full stop. some times wheel/s screech.  i don't use the emergence break, seams totally loose.  i purchased the truck relatively recent.

thanks again.

The most common problem would be a rusted or frozen piston in your disk brake caliper.

Thur the years from heat and moisture in the brake fluid, debris builds up in the caliper bore and the piston is no longer able to move freely.

Time to replace or rebuild the calipers for starters.
