rear suspention modification

I have a 2000 tacoma and i want to make an "A-Frame" suspension set up on the rear axle, Has anyone done this? Do you have any suggestions as for shock travel length and angle of shock mounts?

what's wrong with your current shock set up? Is it limiting your flex?

ya i have blown both my rear shocks because of the flex. They are to close to the leaf springs and the leafs dent the shocks
