wow looks really good man. You might have mentioned this earlier, but any idea as to how much it weighs?

Edit: I just read that its a bit lighter than your stock bed. Really? If so then that's great news. That's my biggest concern if I ever do a flat bed.

Ya, it sits a little higher in the rear then it did with the stock bed, roll bar and bumper.

I went with the higher quality, no duct tape on my flatbed!  Any way, i think the cage is gonna have to wait.  I putting either a 60 or 14 bolt under the rear and 44 in the front.  So i am gonna need all the money i can get.  plus i need a dd to buy.

rockbuggy37

i think its coming allong well, think abought moving things from the front of the truck to help with leaveling out some weight distribution. like making battery trays under the bed with an access cover, and maybe a spair tire mount under the flat part of the bed with a lift up access door(not sure if this will work)(or a hidden tool box) to keep the deck area open for other things. you might be able to use 4 bathroom scales placed under each tire, and as you move objects around you can watch the tire patch pressure change from front to rear, and try to get even pressure distribution.(better crawling)

That bed is sweet man makes me want one :moon:  what are you gonna do for lights?
Sounds like more tree huggin hippie bull :pokinit:

That turned really nice Hyena good score on the vault lid even better if it was from a vault that is still in use  :lipsrsealed:

The lights are gonna stay for right now.  And if you want to use the idea then sure.  I got it from a guy around here.  but he didn't know about it till after it was done.

i like the flat bed! looks good. i want to do a flat bed on mine but i have a body lift. what do you think that would look like?

jimbo74

flatbeds look fine with bodylifts, because you cant actually tell where hte body was supposed to sit
