i buzzed through your build, whats the skinney on the motor? have u fired it up, or did u hear it run before?
what gears are in the axles?  do they match?

AaronB

#4
yeah the motor has been fired up ( not in the truck) it runs great. one of the holes where you mount the starter needs to be drilled and tapped and the gaskets/filters could use a replacement. im not sure if the axles have the same gearing i'll check later today.

Edit : the front has 4:11's i dont know about the rear

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

1985 4runner sr5! being built

Glen1978

Man I'd buy this TODAY if you wernt in freakin Cali......you coming back to Abilene anytime?  I live in Texas so the drive is kinda umm.....far.  LOL!

Do the Yota axles, highsteer, twin sticks, all the crap from Ruffstuff, ect come with it?  And about the tcases?  You have the TH350, adapter, and one top shift now?

What tires is it sportin now?

Details, Details......I have been known to drive for a deal.

AaronB

guess i should explain a little better.

the original front toy axle is gone, it now has a stock dana 60 front axle out of a dually.
I still have the rear toy. axle but it was replaced with a stock 14 bolt.
the bed is not finished and still needs a bunch of welding.
It has a 4.3 chevy tbi motor that ran from the vehicle it was pulled from, the tranny is a th350 with an AA adapter for the single toy case thats not installed yet. i have a twin stick from TG that i was going to put on it.
The cab is totally gutted and the floor was cut for a flat belly for the original dual cases that i dont have anymore.
it has stock pizza cutter wheels on it.

extra crap i have is:
2-stripped front toy. housings
knuckles and parts
2-rear toy. axles
a bunch of stock leaf springs
2 toy. driveshafts
etc...................
