ya i figured i would put them on, and it works for my shock mount with i needed so they should work out, as long as everything fits tomorrow. and ya it was on craigslist and on marlin a while back ago, but changed my mind and decided to SAS it. and you always gotta start high when trying to sell something

when you put the knuckle on turn it lock to lock to see if it clears WITH the rubber seal felts and dust shields all bolted up on the back of the knuckle other wise your never going to get it to fit.

 The welds look nice.
One of my welding buddies runs the welder hot and stitch welds most everything, turns out pretty good.

Yeah I told him he needed to grind a bunch off and he did. Its kind of a stupid design. They should really fix that.

Hes goign to put the knuckle on tomorrow and see how bad it is and grind till it fits.

Good point! I welded mine onto the ball without checking the clearance (felts and backing plate) and then it was a pregnant dog to grind it smooth on the ball

Yea. After seeing Kyle have issues with it, hearing about all the issues, and another buddy have issues, I was sure to remember to tell him to do it before.

I dont think its enough yet but the axle is out of the truck right now so its not a big deal if its still needs a little grinding.

AndrewJacob

thanks for post'n those pics man, and those goggles were sav

AndrewJacob

SAS is done, but once again, i cant figure out how to post the damn pics

kiyul4130

they need to be no larger then 110K. so your going to have to resize them to that or less. then when you click "REPLY" at the bottom is an add attachment button, use that to upload. if you dont want to do that method sign up on photobucket.com or one of those file hosting sites and upload your pictures there and then copy and past the [IMG] code in here and they will show up.

Looks good. You need to weld something on the housing so that passenger side u bolt isnt all kiddiwampus. lol I'd be scared of that thing breaking.

"bout tree fiddy"

AndrewJacob

ya that ubolt wouldnt fit around the housing in the spot its in, so i bent it to fit and accidently bent it sideways in the process, ima get another one and be more careful in making it fit, unless anyone else has ideas to make that one work

lilbuddy

Update....

Got the d-line made for him and looked at his myspace and it looks like he tested it out.
