damnit why can i never put it in right to post pics

cause youre a jerk.

When you get the picture (you have to make sure you get the picuttre that is the big one not the small man) you right click on it and click on copy image location. DONT click on copy link location. after you have the image location copied you have to do this the image thing before the link (like you did) but after the link you have to do this [/IMG], not this [IMG]

whats up with that pass side u bolt? looks kinda funky

Is the bumper done?   It looks like it sticks out pretty far. What type of winch are you installing?

i might add a little more on the top of it, and ima make a winch plate. i might put my warn 9.5 ti off my jeep on it if i sell the jeep, otherwise im not sure what kind yet. and the u bolt is going to get replaced, it slid up the housing when i tightened it so ima weld something on the housing to keep it from moving

Yea I would add a lot more bracing in if you plan to do any type of winching or pulling with that bumper :beerchug:

How many mounting points are there? 4?

I would use no less than 6

Looks good

on most of the bumpers I've built, I tied the bumper into the shock hoops thru the grill. worked pretty good.  :twocents:

not a bad idea, i am making some gussets out of 3/8" plate for a couple spots, and i might do that too, i like that idea

AndrewJacob

any other ideas of how to strengthen it for winching , im going to tie it into my shock hoops and gusset the vertical tubes, any other ideas?

AndrewJacob

got a marlin front diff armor to weld on today, and buying 4.88's front and rear tomorrow, they should be in soon , the u bolt is getting fixed and diff armor welded on soon, and when i finish the bumper ill get final pics up. oh and sliders will be in about 2 weeks

:pokinit: its been like a year and a half since ive updated this, lets see whats new, i finally put in the rear 54" ford springs, i moved the rear axle back 3" when i put the springs in, i remounted my rear shocks and put in some 12" bilsteins, new drivelines, i cut that gay ass front bumper off, and threw on some 35" MTR's

Got the 6000k HID headlights in and some VisionX LED rock lights

AndrewJacob

HID's are in, LED rock lights in a week or so, and hopefully dual cases

88Rokyoat

what was wrong with the front bumper? Didn't you build it?
stupid people shouldn't have kids.

AndrewJacob

ya i wasn't too stoked on it after all, it needed alot of gusseting and :pokinit: if i wanted to be able to put a winch on it and have it hold up...and like 10 people built the exact same thing after and i was tired of having the same :pokinit:...idk i like having unique things i guess...im planning on building a new one in the next few weeks and some sliders too

Well my buddy Andrew is finally SAS'ing his 92.

Going to be a pretty standard build. Im sure he will chime in with details and what not.

Gettin a Toy axle and gunna run 33s for now. Its an allpro SAS kit for the front and probably ford 54's in the rear.

Pics in a few
I updated everthing today

AndrewJacob

well its looking like i need to sell this rig, anyone have input on how much they think i can get for it?
