Dude your not going to get anywhere being all pissed at him when you go back, just tell him what he already knows, that he screwed you and try to work it out. Make an offer (like $50) for the housing and try to get him to make good on the rest. Ya when you get the 3rd out, use a drift and pound the dent out then when your done rebuilding the axle put some sort of diff protection on it. An 8" weldable pipe cap is cheap and will do both diffs

I ripped the whole thing apart yesterday 3rd and everything. what is a drift, a punch if so what kind

A drift is a brass punch. You could use a big punch just try to use something thats blunt so it doesnt cut into the metal and will knock the dent out easier.
