5 Point Belt Mounting
« on: Jan 29, 2009, 05:53:39 AM »
I'll be getting 5 point harnesses.  I was wondering if anyone has picks of thier mounting, in thier 4-Runner.  I have an 86 runner, but all info would be nice.  Tips, tricks, advice ?  I searched and not enough or usefull info.

Thanks

ok side belt can atach to stock mounting   sub strap dobble plated through the floor   shoulder mount u will need a role bar to properly mount it it should be 3to 4 in. below your shoulders   dont floor mount the shoulder straps on impact it could crush you'r spine

That in my stock bench 80 pickup. I used eye bolts with harness clips on the end of the lap belts and for the shoulder straps i put them 6" below my shoulder on a roll cage cross bar. If you need more pictures or help just ask. And my  :twocents: dont use the submarine belt (5th Strap). Is your profile picture at hollister?
