I've been getting this phone call at least 2 a day for the last month.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, and the caller is a spammer.  Trying to tell me that I paid for and haven't used a vacation in Florida.  I never paid for, or wanted a vacation to Florida.  Except to see Diane or Mark, but that's it.  As soon as I tell them they are full of it, take me off the call list and that I'm listed on the Do Not Call list they hang up.  And if I ignore the phone and let it ring until the answering machine picks up.  They just keep calling until somebody answers.    :tantrum:

I've reported them to the FCC, and Do Not Call site everytime they call, and still nothing.  I've called my phone provider and they just refer me to the FCC and the Do Not Call site.  How the F*CK can I block their number??  Without paying for service, or buying a special caller ID box.  I found a caller ID box for $100 that you can input in up to 14 #'s to block.  But I shouldn't have to pay to have a # blocked.  I found a way to do it for cell phones, but not home phones.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I get one like that telling me my extended warranty is about ready to expire, not only don't I have a mfg. warranty on my cars I don't have an extended one either. I usually just hang up. I have thought about actually going through the motions of their scam but they haven't called back yet. I was going to waste their time with a bunch of bogus info then laugh my ass off.

Is it an automated system that has someone pickup after you do? If it is call a # that has been disconnect and record the tone in the beginning and the # disconnect spiel. If their system recognizes the tone it will stop calling since that tone tells the system that the phone belongs to no one.

It's some * something.  I can't remember right now.  But a very easy thing is to give all the callers in your phone book, a ringtone.  And to give all unknown calls or incoming calls that isn't in your phone book a silent ringtone.  That way you know when somebody you want to talk to is calling.
