What's up everyone ?   . I just got back from a 2 week Family vacation . We went to Guatemala and had a blast . You guys would be amazed at how many Toyotas that country has . Toyotas are number 1 there , everywhere you look you see a Toyota 4x4 . Anyway , it was an awesome vacation , it was pretty hot and humid but we had a great time . I called this thread "Toyota Territory" because these signs are seen all over the country :

We rented a 2008 Mitsubishi Turbo Diesel (4WD of course) because I knew we would be doing a little bit of wheelin' . On our 2nd or 3rd day we went to Las Lisas , a local beach and there were 4x4 Toyota trucks EVERYWHERE you looked . Here's just a couple of random shots :

I had contacted a buddy of mine down there and told him we were headed down and wanted to do some wheelin' , so he organised a little wheelin' trip for us with a few other buddies for the following Friday . We went up the back side of  "Volcan Pacaya" wich is a volcano that is always errupting . Pretty bad ass to see at night . Anyway , 10 rigs ended up showing up including our rental . Of the 10 rigs , 7 were Toyotas  . I couldn't wait to get back to the states and post these pics :

YUP , same here man . The 4 door diesel Rangers are bad ass , but there were Mitsus , Mazdas , Yotas and everything else ,  4 Door Diesel . There's even a brand named "Admiral" , they're basically Toyota truck bodies , 3rd gen trucks and there is also 4 Runners but they have Isuzu diesel motors . From what I heard they are hard to get parts for but they are pretty popular .

Is that a New York Yankees sticker on his truck?  :ack:
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

OMG those trucks are HAWT!!! I want one!! Peps, you shoulda snuck one in your suitcase on your way home :hahaha: I wonder if it'd be legal to import one of those :headscratch:  Matt and I did see a lot of Toyotas but TONS of Mitsubishis in Jamaica... We were fascinated by all the vehicles and how they differ from our vehicles here - so much more efficient in other countries, why can't we follow suit  :shake:

so how did the mitsubisi do wheeling
Actually did pretty good man , I was surprised . There was a hill climp that some struggled on and had to try it a few different times , I watched and picked my line and tried it . They thought I'd need to get pulled up and i made it on the first try . Kinda shows you that RockSurfer's sig line is true
