Then we took a 4 hour drive to visit Esquipulas , alot of people from neighboring countries come and pray to the black Christ (that's what the saint is called) . It's over 400 years old . The church is 250 years old , it's pretty cool , there's plaques on the wall from people that have visited from the 1940s . I think the oldest one I saw was from a family in 1943 . . .

Then the day after we drove to Antigua , Guatemala to see all the ruins . That place was awesome and there were alot of tourists there . . . On the way there we could see the volcano that we drove up to and i was showing my wife all the ash that runs down the volcano and about 3 minutes later it errupted

Man! Looks like a sweet trip! Looks like some cool wheeling too!

Seems like they get all the cool toy's, and we only get the watered down version. I know...the grass is always greener... I bet they wish they had some of the stuff we have here.

Did your boys have a good time? Looks like they were enjoying themselves.

Thanx Eric , yeah man it was definately good times . They had a blast . . . LOL , yesterday morning I woke my 7 year old up for school in the morning and he says " Aww Dad , do I have to go to school ? , why can't we just move to Guatemala so that I can always be on vacation ?"

Thought I'd post a couple more pics that I found . Here's a Toyota axle housing that's cemented into the sidewalk . They do this in some of the more busy streets so that cars wont crash into the wall , and 95% of them are Toyota housings

damnnnnnnnn..... i havent laid eyes on that truck right there since i as in europe. i saw toyotas every now and then when i was over there but when i was in madrid i was walking around and saw this truck pretty much minus the headache rack deal. the grill was 3rd gen style along with the bed but!!! the bed rails were first gen style. it was 4 door JUST like that like the tacoma's 01-04 and the tail gate was 3rd gen. i wish i could bring a truck from a different country back over to here. i would kill for one of those toyota territory signs.

Ha Ha , I hear ya . Dude I drove by a police station/prison while I was down there and they had about 8 of those trucks that were I guess their "old police trucks" sitting on the side of their building with weeds growing all around them . I believe they are all diesel too . . . For a second I had a thought of selling the Macho Taco and bringing one of those here and building it . Turbo diesel , linked , 1 tons with rear steer , 44s , Etc. . But then I snapped out of it and came back to reality

. . . Hey next time I go down there I will see if they have smaller Toyota Territory signs and I will bring one back for you dude . I want one too
