Thanks, I will check those videos out.

Everything is installed. My turning radius is definitely better. Going to pick up paint and start on the body panels tomorrow.

Dude , one of my friends' Mom works for Pro-Line and I'm trying to get the new 2.2s . She said she can't get them until there is a part number on their site for them . Definately bad ass tires ! !

Body panels are finished. I tried to do my best at the Sr5 stripes (only my second time custom painting clear lexan). Also due to the shape of the tuber body panels, the front clip didn't turn out as "Tacomish" as I would have liked, but I am happy. Not as sweet as most of the custom tube buggies out there but looks good to me.  :gap:

All that is left is to ream the holes in the light bar bigger to accept the Axial lights I have, relocate rock lights. Next on the list: new battery.

Stock parts are pretty stout its almost always a hard roll onto one corner of the axle or one tire that did in my knuckles/hubs. Did break one or two knuckles in a hard bind at their narrowest point.

Thanks man. Yeah they are a lot of fun, definitely worth having for all kinds of reasons, haha. I like the 4 Link a lot better than the 3 link, I was able to cut down on torque twist a bit and adjust my pinion/driveshaft angles to a much better angle than I was able to get with any of the 3 links I tried. Plus it flexes great.

Not much new in the mini crawler world, I have been beating this thing mercilessly trying to break the front axleshafts with no luck so far. Had a lot of people tell me the Axial replacement axle shafts were junk, not in my opinion. Had em in some binds that I was sure would destroy something but it kept pulling through. Next is figuring out how to improve steering throw, just not getting enough turn out of my front axle. Got a little better with the new shafts and joints but still leaves some to be desired. Also deciding on new electronics. Thinking Rooster Crawler, but we'll see.

Body and cage are holding up good. Recent waterfall climb at my friends house during a downpour made for some tough crawling. Cage took some downright brutal drops and the worst damage I suffered was losing a light bar lense.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

I am running a 65 turn. I was thinking about the Goat 3 Brushless too. Thanks for the suggestion. I eliminated most of my torque twist by tuning the drivers' rear shock and also by going to a 4 link in the rear, cut it down a lot. It was really bad when I got it but its minimal now. Next is to mirror the tranny, I've heard if you flip it around it eliminates all the torque twist outright.

Thanks man. Yeah they are a lot of fun, especially on a rainy day or when you can't go wheeling. Plus you can beat on them as hard as you want and not feel bad, cuz compared to a real truck, parts are super cheap. The aftermarket for the Axials is limitless, so you can do anything you want to these. I like to bring mine on vacation with me, because no matter where I go I can always find some wheeling.

Yeah, I have seen those. Pretty cool. However, I don't compete and don't plan on it so dig isn't really necessary for me. My friend has it in his Axial, but rarely uses it when we are wheeling or even when we do our own "comps". Its something I'd like to do eventually for fun, but not much of a priority. My goal now is to fully upgrade my electronics and ditch what stock electronics remain. Performance wise the truck works awesome, but I want finer throttle control and drag brakes. Rolling back when you are in a perfect spot really sucks.

Check out the classifieds on rccrawler.com... I've seen some killer deals on already semi-built or built rigs for a lot less than you could build one for.

I had my Losi rock lights bolted up to stock holes on the Axial frame, but when I upgraded to the Proline tube body, it bolted to the same spot I had my lights located. Had to drill some holes in the frame to mount them. Gonna tweak the way they are aimed but I am probably gonna keep the front lights aimed all the way forward to act like headlights.
