Has anyone ran this hood from Showdown Customs with a 3.4 swap? I think they look sick, but im not going to spend $500 on a hood im going to have to cut a hole in...

You can get fiberglass hoods for pretty cheap.

I've been wonder the same thing about those hoods.

The other 'glass hood I've seen are scooped and don't look like they provide enough clearance for the plenum on the 3.4.

Instead of cutting the hood, get a small body lift? Just got to cut out like a piece of hood ribbing that is like 1" thick? Get a 1" body lift! Cheaper than a new hood.

For sure!!!! Im just not into the whole body lift thing, i dont like the gaps between the bumpers and such, plus, ive already cut a hole in my hood AND I love the look of the cowl...... So its most likely a for sure thing if I can figure out if it will clear the 3.4.....

I found that site and it looks like there is no cross ribbing to interfere with the intake. Should be fine!
