That should be the general test procedures for all of the sensors on the 3.0. It could actually be as simple as a shorted wire somewhere. If you test all of the applicable sensors (that factor into the mixture), and they're good, I would suspect the short, or a broken wire. I think I remembered you already swapped a different ECU to test?

Is that the clutch start cancel relay? If so, then that is not your culprit since your engine at least cranks. I see a black with white stripe wire which is typically the starter signal wire.

i agree with mike...get rid of the 3.slow and find a 3.4 to swap in there.. im sure that will fix your problems  :thumbs:

Hey man I also have the 3.0 and it broke the lower timing belt gear around the key way and it would jump the timing up  and down and my exhaust would glow just like that. I could be driving and turn the key off and on real fast and it would jerk the timing gear back to where it needed to be and it would run fine until it would slip back. It acted like an electrical problem to me and it took me a month to figure it out. Hope this helps I feel your pain. :beer: oops I didn't see your it runs post.
