I have a 1990 Toyota 4Runner SR5 that I'm selling right now for cheap!  I did the 3.4L swap last year before summer sometime.  The body has 211K and the motor has about 100K.  Some specs.
3.4L 5VZFE/Auto A340F
23 spline gear driven t-case with Marlin adapter
Air shocks front and rear
Ball joint spacers
Body lift I made out of UHMW Polyethaline...however you spell that.
Lockrite locker in the rear.
Aisen Manual Locking Hubs
Custom fabbed t-case crossmember
Marline sliders
A/C blows cold
I'll trade for a Toyota truck if the deals right.
I drive 70mph with the A/C on to get to the trail.  It does Dusy-Ershem with no winching or towing.  It's never broken down on the trail either.  You smog.  It's in Atascadero, CA 93453 (805)712-6573 $3000

I think a SAS is gunna be next.

If it does have a 3.4 in it... get some pics. That is a real selling point. Or else it is another Runner.

Rupreckt86

lol, what do you mean "if" ???
Of course it's in there.  I'll take some pics this weekend.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

I did my own wiring.  I bought some blank hard shell connectors for the 3.4 computer.  I repined the 3.0 computer and body harness into them.  Everything you need is right there, there is no need to run wires all over the place.
I fabbed my crossover pipe from scratch, including a flex pipe for heat expantion.
Used the ORS p/s hose.
I used the 3.0 a/c compresser and the 3.4L pully.
Fabbed my own t-case crossover which addad a ton of ground clearance.
Any other questions just ask.

K, but once I close escrow on my house I'll probably end up keeping it and SASing it.  You can hit me up though cuz I really want to build a truck instead of a 4Runner.

Raised the price to what it's worth, $5000.00  Someone should have got it when it was cheap!

going to be way hard to sell now.

X2 3500 is all I saw this being worth.  If it has gone through the ref and does pass smogg I could see 4k. not going to the ref there could be somthing nobody knows about that you might.  Not saying that is the case but that is alot of hoops to jump through just to liscense a rig that is supposed to run good

TIMS89CRAWLER

you guys are crazy its worth an easy $5000 here.... if you were here in oregon you would have sold it in a day or 2 for the $3500 and prolly still would for $5000... good job on the swap I just did 1 in a 93 truck...

if it were READY to go... as in licensed, ref'd, smoged, etc then I could see $5000. it is just a regular mild 4runner build with faded paint and a nice motor (maybe). Why havent you ref'd it?

I hate to be a richard.
But i gotta agree..
I have a 94 runner thats getting a 3.4, but i would get it ref'd and smogged if i was trying to sell it.
Its a big selling point on any vehicle with a motor swap.

It's currently registered and street driven.  I put about 100 miles on it just last week.  I havn't smogged it because I havn't needed to.  Later, when my schedule isn't so busy, I might do the couple little things it needs to pass.

As far as it being worth $5000, I think someone could breake even parting the thing out for that.  That how I came up with that number.  If it sells for that, cool, some money for my house and next project.  If it doesn't, I'll keep it, SA it, and build it to it's next stage.

......hey, easy on the paint commects or I'll get out my rattle can, lol.
