Hey everyone-

I *FINALLY* have some time to sit and relax, and realized it's been over a year since I've posted anything here.  So what's been going on thats kept me away, you ask?

I went from line technician, to Master Technician, to Master Diagnostic Technician, to Shop Foreman at work.  I now spend my days doing paperwork and management duties, rather than actually turning wrenches on cars.  It's easier on my hands and back, but I seem to have an constant headache now from the babysitting and BS...

My wife completed her Masters Degree (can you say sugar mama? :eyebrow:) and we found out we're pregnant and expecting in June

We purchased a house and I've been busy with home upgrades

My F250 has been a constant project (it IS a Ford, afterall) and got a brand new turbo system.  It was also featured in Diesel Power Magazine.

My Toyota pickup hasn't seen much action- I had it up in Colorado in August and ran Carnage Canyon.  I need hydro-assist steering, which was sitting in the garage until earlier this month.

My garage was broken into and cleaned out at the beginning of the month.  They left my Supra, my Toyota pickup, my XR650R and my CBR900RR but took everything else.  All my tools including my welder and plasma cutter, all my hand tools, all my dirtbike riding gear, my hydro assist steering kit, my on board welder, my trailer winch, and tons of other stuff.  Bastards.   :maddest:

I've finally realized that I need to prioritize my time- even more so after the baby is born- and not just come home from work too exhausted to do anything.  I'm trying to be more productive in 2009!

How has everyone else been?  What's the newest and greatest with MC?  Where the heck is BigMike?  Is FFC still stirring the pot around here?  What about the Mammoths?

Post up, everyone!

Good to see your alive and kicking.  Congratulations on the future wheeler!   Things have slowed down around the Marlin site.  Several members have kinda stepped away for a while, they are still here, but just not on as much as they used to.  But White Trash is back from time to time to help stir the pot!

Holy crap, good to see you back ryan   Sorry to hear about the theft man.  It's great they didn't take everything, but it sucks balls they took anything!  Hopefully your insurance covered everything?

I hear ya on the headache.  I spent a couple years as a supervisor and it seemed like I spent more time either babysitting or walking on egg shells around the ultra sensetive than I did actually accomplishing anything!

Oh, and congrats on the new kid mang   :cheese:

Thanks for the warm "re-welcoming" guys!

No ideas on who broke into the garage, but rest assured that if I catch 'em, they'll wish they'd never set foot in there!

I'm hoping that the insurance company will come through- I submitted a list of over $12k worth of my stuff that was stolen, we'll see what they decide to do.  I probably won't know anything until after the first of the year though...

Mommas due in late May or early June, and we'll find out next month if it's a boy (and I get to buy more toys) or a girl (and I get to buy a shotgun...) and the craziness will ensue.  The grandmas are already going nuts getting ready for the first grandbaby on both sides  :clap2:

Hopefully after the insurance settlement, I'll be able to re-purchase all my tools and get back to work on the truck.  I've got some ideas to get it through the next couple of seasons, but am also beginning to think about a possible 4-seater conversion as the kiddo grows up.  I'm debating a 4seat Ftoy chassis or maybe importing a 4dr Hilux...

Bummer to hear about the Mammoths... Mark and Diane are great people, and I wish 'em the best in whatever life brings them.

It's great to see you back on here! Give my regards to yer wifey

Congrats on the impending birth! Shoot for May 20th...I'm not saying who, but some decent folk have that birthday!

Sorry about the theft...I'd like to hang no good, low down, pecker headed thieves by their bollocks!

Heard from the insurance company yesterday- I was hoping they were calling to ask where to send my settlement check, but they just had questions about my claim.  Looks like I won't get it settled until next year...

Thanks for all the well wishes guys- best to all of you in 2009!
