well been building a truck for the last while, rebuilt the engine and went to break it in.  getting a no start with no crank, got too dark outside before i could get into it.  thinking it might be a computer seeing as the only thing that works is the headlights.  anyideas?

Start with the basics. Check & make sure you have the block, body, cyl head & frame grounded to the battery. Get a set of jumper cables & connect the ground side of the battery to the block & try it.

My bro-in-law bought a truck that had a rebuilt motor that wouldn't start with out being jumped. Turned out the block wasn't grounded to the battery.

forgot to mention,  no power to fuel pump and no dash lights, the dash lights used to work, im guessing its my ecu because the truck is outside, with a tarp, but no windshiled so i thinnk it got wet
